A type
「I love you the most so far. So much it feels like I’m dying.」
「so far, “How many times have you died?”」

B type
Akercock –There’s nothing but analogue machines in place of our worthless flesh-

Regular type
「what is here?」
「 “there” is where there is nothing」
「then what about there?」
「“here” is where there is something」

[1] I just realized this one might need a note because it makes a lot more sense in Japanese. He's using 「ここ」and 「そこ」here, so the first and second line refer to the area of the person asking the questions, and the third and fourth line refer to the area of the person answering the questions.

  2. Thank you Professor Daly for your commentary on this case. Your post helped me considerably in understanding the depth of the decision, especially when considering the interpretation of the decision in both languages, which is always an issue. Übersetzungsbüro Essen
